Men's Hockey Announces Signing of Five Additional Student-A... Providence College hockey coach Tim Army announced on Friday, May 16 that student athletes Bryce Aneloski (Pekin, Ill.), Shawn Tingley (North Kingstown, R.I.), Matt Bergland (Faribault, Minn.), David Brown (Centennial, Colo.), and Andy Balysky (Randolph, N.J.) each have committed to attend PC beginning in September 2008. > Full Story

Name: Danette DoetzelSport: Track Class: Junior Hometown: Macklin, Saskatchewan Doetzel captured the women's 10,000 meter title in a time of 33:27.64 at the 2008 BIG EAST Outdoor Championship in Villanova, Pa. Doetzel is the fourth Friar all-time to capture the BIG EAST 10,000 meter championship, and the first since Kim Smith (2004). With her time of 33:27.64, Doetzel qualified for the NCAAs.
